Heroes, The Wire and lots of 24 stuff

Heroes, NBC's superhero drama, has reportedly been picked up here by the Sci-Fi Channel........HBO have renewed The Wire for a 5th season despite tiny ratings........James Cromwell, star of Six Feet Under and new movie The Queen (he plays Prince Phillip), will join 24 this year. He'll play Phillip Bauer, Jacks estranged father! And if thats not enough Eddie Izzard will portray a villain. I wonder if that was part of the deal that saw his series get picked up by FX.

Season six picks up 20 months after Jack's kidnapping by Chinese government agents. Wayne Palmer is now himself the President of the United States facing the consequences of a series of horrific terrorist attacks.
