Studio 60 cancellation imminent
NBC are set to cancel Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
The high profile drama from Aarron Sorkin has failed to capture viewers and has lost nearly half of those it started with.
Cast members are said to be resigned to its fate
It was thought that NBC might press on with the show as it was attracting upmarket viewers but even that has not been enough to save it
Its the third Channel 4 purchase to get the chop, following Runaway and Kidnapped. The network have also fumbled Lost to SKY One.

That's based on a report from Fox News, so I'd take it with a grain of salt. It doesn't look good any way you slice it, though. (Ditto Friday Night Lights, which subbed for the show this week and didn't manage to capitalise on its Heroes lead-in either.)
