The schedules remain foggy

Rescue Me which was scheduled for November and then January and then got lost in the fog again is now set to return to SKY One on Thursday February 15th or maybe the 22nd, or maybe by the time you read this it will have gone again......House is no longer in the Channel Five January schedule, that also looks like it will be back on Thursdays in February......Keifer Sutherland and the 24 cast and creators will join Larry King on CNN for an hour to take questions ahead of the new series......If you missed season seven of Law and Order Special Victims Unit when Hallmark aired it in the Summer, they will show it again from January 4th......Rumours that season eight currently airing in the US may be the last with Christopher Meloni and Mariska Hargitay who are out of contract and want more money than creator Dick Wolf is prepared to part with.......

News for the New Year

Bravo have scheduled the second season of Masters of Horror late night for 2007. It will begin at 11pm on January 15th right after the new series of Blade......Daybreak, another Bravo purchase, has been cancelled by ABC, another failure for Taye Diggs.......ITV2 are trailing the Paul Haggis helmed show The Black Donnellys as part of their Winter line-up......the same network returns Supernatural on Sunday January 28th at 9pm with Friday Night Lights starting over on ITV4 on Friday February 9th.....

No help for Ted Danson

ABC have axed the Ted Danson sitcom Help Me Help You

The show had not been picked up for a full season yet and it now looks to be over.

Danson, a huge sitcom star after Cheers and Becker, plays a therapist trying to help an eccentric bunch of people in group therapy (sounds a bit like Dear John).

Living have picked up the show in the UK

More schedule news - and not all of it good

SKY One appeared to have pulled Rescue Me from its January schedule. Very annoying given that it was meant to start in November......Lovespring International due to start on SKY One has been cancelled in US.....More bad news - we will have to wait until AUGUST to see the final nine episodes of the Sopranos on E4 (its nine not eight as you will read elsewhere) and the same for the second series of My Name is Earl, although I suspect the latter might change.......Men In Trees starring Anne Heche begins on Living on February while the second season of The Unit starts on Bravo....Heroes airs on the Sci-Fi Channel from Feb 19th,Mondays at 10 opposite Prison Break on Channel Five.....ER is back on E4 from Thursday Jan 4th, the superior House returns to Channel Five a fortnight later.

Channel Four will premiere the third season of Desperate Housewives on Wednesday January 3rd with Ugly Betty starting two days later......Jericho begins on Hallmark a week late on January 12th.......24 is back on SKY One on January 21st with Ricky Schroder now among the cast....
